Shipping Policies

Santa Monica Coin ships via USPS Ground within the 50 United States and Internationally via FedEx to certain countries listed below.
Invoices with P.O. Box addresses will be held until a street address is obtained and will be cancelled if a street address cannot be obtained within a reasonable time.

Estimated Ship Time

Santa Monica Coin reserves between 3-8 business days for an order to ship from our Los Angeles based warehouse. If no shipping confirmation is received by the 8th business day, please contact us immediately for more information.

Tracking Numbers

Tracking numbers are assigned on the date your package is shipped from our warehouse. And will be emailed to the winner bidder upon shipment of there item(s).

Missing Items or Stolen/Lost Packages

If you do not receive your package and purchased insurance for your item(s), you must file a claim with Santa Monica Coin within 5 days of the scheduled delivery date of your package (7 business days after the order has a status of “shipped” or 18 business days from date of payment). Santa Monica Coin will not be held liable under any circumstance for lost or stolen packages, packages containing missing items, or vandalized packages, if the customer does not contact Santa Monica Coin within 5 days from the scheduled delivery date of your package or decides to waive the ability to purchase insurance.
Santa Monica Coin will not be held liable for any packages or items that have been sold or forwarded on to a third party or international location.

Combined Shipping

Combined Shipping will not be available for items from Santa Monica Coin.

Cost

Shipping cost is divided into 4 levels, based on size and weight of the item and will be individually determined in the auction description.

• Level 1 = $6
• Level 2 = $8
• Level 3= $14
• Level 4= $25
• All International Shipping = $45

Insurance

Insurance is always available at the following rates:

• Items being shipped within the US via USPS = $.30 per $100 (max: $5,000)
• Items being shipped internationally via FedEx = $.70 per $100 (max: $30,000)
